Wine Travel

vineyardThe only thing better than drinking a great glass of wine is sitting on a winery’s deck, gazing at vineyards that march off into the distance, while sipping a great glass of their wine. That’s exactly what we did at Artesa Winery in Carneros and Seghesio Vineyards in Sonoma. We had a blast at both, and you’ll see we loved their stuff: we did a wine review of Artesa Elements and also reviewed Seghesio’s Sonoma Zinfandel.

Wine Country has a mystique and a romance for all of us. And why not? When visions of wine country dance in our heads we see blue skies, warm sunshine, lush green vineyards, and wine, wine, and more wine. There’s also plenty of great restaurants, elegant accommodations, and friendly folks.

But once you’ve set your heart on experiencing Wine Country for yourself, you may be anywhere from mildly confused to totally befuddled about the job of organizing air fares and hotels; knowing where to go and what to avoid like the plague; or figuring out how to make the most of your precious time.

So don’t reinvent the wheel. Take advice from those who’ve done it.

And that’s what we’ll be doing for you here. We’ll be a clearing house, offering reviews, articles and links to articles that are helpful and interesting. Stay tuned for travel tips to everywhere from Napa to New Zealand, and lots of places in between. And please return the favor. Let us know when you find a place you really like (or really hate!) Or do your own review. We’d love to share your comments with all our loyal listeners.

Cheers!
